WHY BLOOD VITALITY
Hi, I’m Dr. Matt Angove, in my 10 years as a Naturopathic Doctor, I’ve seen thousands of patients, but the one complaint that most of my patients have in common is a lack of energy. Many of my patients who lack energy also have anemia.
Of those who have anemia, most have malabsorption issues as a result of Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, or the stress from processed foods and a fast paced lifestyle.
I used to give my anemic patients Iron bisglycinate, but the very product that was supposed to be helping them produced more side effects, the most common were: heartburn, bloating, nausea, and constipation.
I started resorting to intravenous iron and intramuscular injections of iron. However, this is costly, time-consuming, and carries a much higher risk for me and my patients, overall, making this route of blood building very challenging with compliance.
Given the high potential for allergic reaction and non-allergic negative reaction to iron, along with the high cost to the clinic and patient, I discontinued iron infusions.
I didn’t just stop iron infusions and leave my iron-deficient patients to fend for themselves, I found a way to raise iron levels ultra-efficiently with essentially no side effects, this iron came in the form of an oral whole protein iron delivery system.
Blood Vitality is a whole food form of iron with active forms of B12 and folate and contains 15mg of elemental iron per serving along with other blood-building minerals that are delivered in a unique form called Hydrolyzed Whole Protein Chelate. This unique form is what makes it easier to digest and absorb without the side effects commonly associated with iron supplements.
